About OPRS:  What is a CCRC?

Retirement is a time to continue to do the things you enjoy most in life. It’s also a time to start making choices about your future. Though there are numerous retirement options available, one option stands above the rest: a Continuing Care Retirement Community, or CCRC.

More than 625,000 seniors choose to make their homes in CCRCs because they offer a variety of lifestyle and housing options, and services and programs designed to maintain health and independence.

You will receive great peace of mind knowing there are three levels of care, all within the same community. When your needs change, the appropriate level of support is available – from independent living, to assisted living, to nursing care – offering a truly personalized approach to retirement.
